STAGING PROTOTYPE This is a staged mock-up. The product is not yet available, no payment is being taken, and nothing on this page sends emails.

For AU tradies who quote by email

You sent the quote.
We make sure it doesn't die in their inbox.

QuoteChaser watches your Gmail Sent folder, spots quotes going cold, and drafts the follow-up in your voice. You tap send — or you don't. No CRM. No new app. No behaviour change.

The follow-up watchdog for tradies · A$39/month · unlimited follow-ups · works from the Gmail you already use

31/31adversarial self-test checks green on the prototype engine [verified 2026-09-28]
15/15correct suppress-or-draft decisions across synthetic test threads [verified 2026-09-28] — hand-built tests, not real inboxes
0messages the product ever sends on its own. Every follow-up is a draft until you approve it — by design, permanently.

01 — THE PROBLEM

Quoting is the easy part.
Remembering to follow up is the job that never gets done.

Between the site visit, the materials run and the next job starting Monday, the quote from last Tuesday slips. Nobody declined it — it just went quiet.

$

Every cold quote is a job you already won halfway

They asked. You measured. You priced it. The follow-up is the cheapest hour of marketing you'll ever spend — and the one that never happens.

✉

Following up feels pushy, so it doesn't happen at all

Drafts are written in plain, no-worries tradie voice — a nudge, not a sales cadence. Genuine intention only: no fake urgency, no invented discounts.

▦

CRMs want you to move house. The ute whiteboard isn't a system.

QuoteChaser meets you where you already are — Gmail Sent. Nothing to migrate, nothing new to open, nothing to learn.

02 — HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. Nothing changes except the follow-ups stop slipping.

1

Connect Gmail — Sent folder only, read-only

We watch for quotes you've sent. Never your inbox, never your clients' details beyond what's needed to draft the follow-up.

2

We draft, you decide

Day-2 nudge, day-7 value-add, day-14 last call — staged as Gmail drafts in your voice. Nothing ever sends itself. You're the sender, always.

3

It stops the second they reply

Accepted, declined, or "don't contact me" — the watchdog stands down instantly. A do-not-contact is terminal: that thread is never drafted again, ever.

The cadence — short, then it stops

Tied to the client's own quote enquiry. Then done — no day-30/60/90 drip.

DayWhat we draftWhy it works
Day 2The nudge — "just checking this landed alright"Catches the quote that got buried under Monday's email pile
Day 7The value-add — a relevant detail, timing note or question answeredGives them a reason to reply beyond "are we there yet"
Day 14The honest last call — "should I close this one off?"Polite exit that often converts; then the thread rests

Suppression engine: any non-"awaiting reply" status — accepted, declined, do-not-contact, client-question-pending, lapsed — yields zero drafts. Every time. That's the single chokepoint, and it's adversarially tested [verified 2026-09-28].

03 — THE SUPPRESSION PROMISE

"I don't want robots emailing my clients."

Neither do we. Here's exactly when the watchdog drafts — and when it stands down.

We draft

  • ✓ Quote sent, no reply yet, inside the 2/7/14-day window
  • ✓ Every draft lands in your Gmail for review first
  • ✓ Written in your voice — plain, direct, no-worries tone

We never draft

  • ✕ Client accepted, declined, or asked not to be contacted — permanently
  • ✕ The ball's in your court (client asked a question you haven't answered)
  • ✕ It was an invoice, not a quote — never confused, tested as a refuse case
Honest limit: v1 watches Gmail Sent only. If most of your quoting happens over SMS, Messenger, phone or paper dockets, we're not for you yet — and the free scan will tell you that straight rather than take your money. Off-email quotes are invisible to the watchdog [verified limitation].

04 — COMPLIANCE, BUILT IN

Follow-up automation has to respect the Spam Act 2003. Ours is designed around it.

Compliance isn't a footnote here — it's the architecture. The controls below are product features, not fine print.

We are not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice. The legal analysis behind these controls (inferred consent, unsubscribe wording, sender characterisation, privacy handling) is flagged for solicitor review before anything goes live — that's a binding kill gate for this product, not a checkbox. STAGED EXAMPLE — ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY

Every month: "We drafted 14 follow-ups. 3 turned into $8,600 of booked work."

The monthly recovered-revenue report — your records, not our promise. [unverified — staged illustrative figure, not a real result]

14 follow-ups drafted this month · 11 approved and sent by you · 3 quotes you marked won after a follow-up

If it finds you one extra job a year, it's paid for itself many times over. That figure reflects quotes you marked as won — it's your record, never our guarantee.

06 — FAQ

Straight answers.

Does it email my clients automatically?
No — never. Every follow-up is staged as a Gmail draft. Nothing sends until you review and tap send. The product cannot send on its own, by design.
What if the client already said no — or said don't contact me?
Then we never draft. Declines, acceptances and do-not-contact requests shut the cadence down automatically — a do-not-contact is permanent. Invoices are never confused with quotes (tested as an adversarial refuse case [verified 2026-09-28]).
My quotes are mostly in SMS / Messenger / on paper. Will this work for me?
Honestly: not yet. V1 watches Gmail Sent only, so off-email quotes are invisible to it. The free scan will tell you if your quoting is email-heavy enough to be worth it — if it isn't, we'll say so rather than take your money.
Is following up like this legal under the Spam Act?
Follow-ups go only to people who asked you for a quote, every draft carries an unsubscribe line, and you — the tradie — review and send each message from your own address. That design is built around the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). But we are not a law firm: the legal analysis needs solicitor sign-off before launch, and that review is a binding kill gate for the product.
Why not just use ServiceM8 or simPRO?
They're great if you run your whole business inside them. Most 1–5 person outfits quote from email, SMS and the ute. QuoteChaser meets you where you already are instead of asking you to move.
What does it cost, and can I cancel?
A$39/month flat, unlimited quotes and drafts, cancel anytime. No per-seat, no success fees, no lock-in. [unverified — price thesis]
