What QuoteChaser is, what it isn't, and who's responsible for what. Drafted for review — a solicitor must finalise these before anything goes live.

1. What the product does

QuoteChaser watches the Gmail Sent folder you connect, detects quote emails, and stages follow-up drafts (day 2, day 7, day 14) in your Gmail drafts. It never sends a message. You review every draft and choose whether to send it from your own email address.

2. What it doesn't do

It is not a CRM, not a marketing platform, and not a lead-nurture tool. It does not send bulk messages, does not contact people who never asked you for a quote, and does not override a do-not-contact request — that suppression is terminal.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You warrant you have consent to contact each client you ask QuoteChaser to watch.
  • You review every draft before sending — sending is always your act, from your address.
  • You are responsible for complying with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), including consent and unsubscribe requirements.

4. Data handling (staged commitments)

  • We read your Sent folder only — never your inbox.
  • We collect only what's needed to draft follow-ups: client names, email addresses, quote values.
  • Client data is never sold, never used for marketing, and never used to train models without consent.
  • Thread data is purged when the cadence closes, plus a defined retention window (exact schedule to be set with solicitor advice).

5. Pricing

A$39/month flat, unlimited quotes and drafts, cancel anytime. No per-seat fees, no success fees, no lock-in. [unverified — price thesis]

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is capped/excluded — exact wording to be drafted by a solicitor. Recovered-revenue figures shown in the product reflect quotes you marked as won after a follow-up; they are your records, not our guarantee.

The inferred-consent basis under Spam Act 2003 (Cth) s 16, the s 18 unsubscribe wording, the "tradie is the sender" characterisation, privacy/APP handling and the do-not-contact persistence rule all require solicitor review — a binding kill gate — before launch.
